I’m Dr. Mikaela Rush - a Board Certified OBGYN in Texas

Dr. Mikaela Rush was born and raised in Texas.

She attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate studies majoring in Biomedical Science. Post-graduation, she remained at Texas A&M for medical school.

After finishing medical school, she moved to Dallas to complete her OB-GYN residency training at Dallas Methodist Hospital. She was awarded Chief Resident during her fourth year of training. Dr. Rush then moved to Cedar Park to open her OB-GYN practice at Cedar Park Women’s Center in 2009.

Dr. Rush is very active on social media and is passionate about making education fun by adding a humorous twist. Her videos on Instagram and TikTok have gained a following with their straightforward and often funny approach to topics related to female, sexual, and reproductive health.

Dr. Rush is also very involved with the hospital and serves on multiple committees such as Quality, Peer Review, and the Medical Executive Committee. She is also currently the Chief of the OB Department and is the Chair of the Credentials Committee at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, reading, beekeeping, and traveling.
